Raised in Northern California, I’m just as surprised as anyone to be living in LA now. But the sway of palm trees can be very meditative. 

I came to Los Angeles by way of Macy’s New York. I feel like I was raised by Macy’s - both at home and in advertising. Growing up, everything in our house came from the store, from prom dresses to kitchen appliances. As an adult working at the corporate offices, I loved the excitement of being in the store before it opened, working behind the scenes.

Nowadays I feel that same purposeful thrill working in the photo studio. It’s fun to shape a brand’s identity through visual cues and concepts.
